Meeting of the Ambassador with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia

On 8 July 2021, in Brussels, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the European Union Ambassador Erkinkhon Rahmatullozoda received the new EU Special Representative for Central Asia Ambassador Terhi Hakala.

The Ambassador congratulated the Special Representative on her new assignment and wished her every success in implementing the EU New Strategy for Central Asia and constructive plans in a number of areas of cooperation.

During the conversation, a productive exchange of views took place on the upcoming events of the EU and CA – the Tashkent International Summit on Regional Connectivity, the Bishkek Economic Forum, the Civil Society Forum in Kazakhstan as well as the meeting of EU and CA Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe. The parties agreed to expand and deepen future cooperation.
