Meeting with the Special Envoy of Switzerland

On 6 April 2015 the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov with the Special Envoy of Switzerland on water issues, Wilhelm Meier has been held.

During the meeting the parties discussed the implementation of the outcomes of the Basel Conference on Integrated Water Resources Management in Central Asia, which was held in November 2014 in Switzerland, and exchanged views on regional water cooperation in Central Asia.

In conclusion of the conversation, Minister of Foreign Affairs informed the Special Envoy on the preparation of the International High-Level Conference on the results of the implementation of the International Decade for Action "Water for Life", 2005-2015, which is scheduled in Dushanbe on 9-11 June 2015.
