On February 20, 2015 in the Hague, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Rustamjon Soliev in the presence of senior officials of the ministry officially handed over to the Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi an instrument of accession of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents (Apostille Convention).
The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in his speech expressed confidence that the accession of Tajikistan to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents primarily contributes to the improvement of the investment climate in the country and provides legal guarantees for domestic and foreign investors, as well as helping to attract foreign investment in various sectors of the country’s economy.
It should be noted that the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents for the Republic of Tajikistan shall enter into force on October 31, 2015.
