Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with delegation of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

On 2 December 2014 Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has received Ms. Hulan Tsedev, the OHCHR Head of the Europe and Central Asia Section in Geneva, Ms. Elisabeth da Costa, the OHCHR Deputy Regional Representative for Central Asia, Ms. Natalya Seitmuratova, the OHCHR Human Rights Officer for Central Asia, as well as Mr. Alexander Zuev, UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan and other representatives from the OHCHR in Tajikistan.

During the meeting the issues of monitoring and implementation of Tajikistan’s international commitments and cooperation with the UN special procedures in the field of human rights have been discussed. The parties have also exchanged views on the positive experience of collaboration between Republic of Tajikistan and Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
