Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal

On December 5, 2019 in Bratislava, on the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal Ms. Teresa Ribeiro was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin.

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the level of political relations and emphasized the necessity to develop cultural and economic ties between Tajikistan and Portugal. Organization of business forums and visits of business circles as well as issues related to climate change and water management, in particular advancement of the objectives of the Decade “Water for Sustainable Development” were discussed.
