Celebration of Tajik State holidays in Malaysia

On  November 18, 2019, an official reception was organized on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Independence Day, the 25th anniversary of the Constitution Day, the President’s Day and the State Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan which was held in Kuala Lumpur with the participation of representatives of various ministries and agencies of Malaysia, the diplomatic corps accredited to Kuala Lumpur, media, business, science and culture circles, as well as Tajik compatriots living in Malaysia.

Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Malaysia Ardasher Qodiri delivered a speech about the progress and achievements during the years of independence and the role of the Founder of the peace and National unity-Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon, stressing the current stability in the country, the development of various industries achieving strategic goals and programmes, and also noted the status and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Malaysia.

At the event Deputy Minister of Human Resources of Malaysia Datuk Wira Haji Mahfuz bin Haji Omar congratulated the President and people of the Republic of Tajikistan on behalf of the King of Malaysia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa and highlighted the current state of bilateral and multilateral relations, the prospects for political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

At the celebration, the Tajik citizens who are currently living in Malaysia performed Tajik folk and Malay songs, showed the videos about the achievements of the country during the years of independence and tourist attractions of the country.
