Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Deputy Executive Secretary of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe

On October 14, 2014 the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov with the Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Andrey Vasilyev was held.

During the meeting a wide range of issues on cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the UNECE, in particular in the fields of water energy, transport and custom were discussed. Along with this, the sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the framework of the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA), as well as participation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the 9 session of the Governing Council and the SPECA Economic Forum (Ashgabat, 4-5 December 2014).

The parties also gave special attention to the projects and programs implemented by UNECE in Tajikistan.
