Presentation of copies of Credentials by the Head of European Union Delegation to Tajikistan

On October 13, 2014 a newly appointed Head of European Union Delegation to Tajikistan Ambassador Hidajet Biščević presented copies of his Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirodjidin Aslov.

During the meeting, which took place after the ceremony, Sirodjidin Aslov expressed hope that new EU Ambassador will make a substantial contribution to the strengthening and development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and EU.

Having expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between Tajikistan and EU, the sides stated that the bilateral cooperation program for 2014-2020 will be aimed at further implementation of projects in the spheres of education, health and rural development. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on regional and international issues, discussed cooperation on water and energy, security, situation in Afghanistan as well as other issues of the agenda.  

Tajikistan Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador success in his professional activity.
