Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan in the 43rd annual Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Group 77 and China

On 27 September 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the annual Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Group 77 and China.

In his statement the Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed importance of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and noted that Tajikistan, in order to achieve the SDGs has adopted the National Development Strategy for the period until 2030. Minister Muhriddin has briefed the participants on the preparation to the Second High-level International Conference on the implementation of the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028”, which will be held in 2020 in Dushanbe. In this regard, he invited representatives of the G-77 member-states to take part in Dushanbe Conference.
