International Festival of National Music and Dance took place in Dushanbe

International Festival of  National Music and Dance was held on September 20, 2019 in A. Juraev Tajik State Philharmonia at the initiative of the Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan to celebrate the 28th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Performers from Tajikistan and artistic troops from other countries performed and demonstrated their national dances and songs at the international festival.

Heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations, staff of ministries and agencies, as well as residents and visitors of the capital city of Dushanbe took part in this event.

The purpose of this event was to provide spectators with an opportunity to learn and witness the culture of various countries, strengthen friendly relations and boost mutually beneficial cultural cooperation between the states.
