Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with Governor of Kyoto Prefecture

On August 2, 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Mr. Jalolov Mirzosharif visited Kyoto Prefecture and he met with Governor of Prefecture Mr. Takatoshi Nishiwaki.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of mutual interest, including the development of bilateral cooperation in the spheres of economy, trade, culture and tourism.

T. Nishiwaki recalled the visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the prefecture of Kyoto on October 4, 2018 and called it historical event in Tajikistan- Japan relations, in particular for Kyoto prefecture.
