Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan with a member of German Bundestag 

On August 5, 2019, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Muzaffar Huseinzoda received Mr. Manfred Grund, the member of German Bundestag and Chairman of the German-Central Asian parliamentary group.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Neithart Hoefer-Wissing and representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation also a

ttended the meeting.

During the meeting the sides discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany. The parties expressed their interest in further strengthening the relations between Tajikistan and Germany in the political, economic and humanitarian fields, as well as in the security sphere.

The two sides also discussed the interaction in the framework of international organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
