Participation of the Ambassador of Tajikistan at the “Long Night of Open Doors of Consulates” event in Hamburg, Germany

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Germany Sohibnazar Gayratsho took part in the traditional event “Long Night of Open Doors of Consulates”, which is held on May 23, 2019 for the eighth time in the German city of Hamburg.

At the initiative of the Honorary Consulate of Tajikistan in the federal states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein together with the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany, the current event was devoted to the Year of Regional Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts 2019-2021, as well as Youth Day. The honorary consulate of Tajikistan was visited by more than 500 representatives of political, economic and cultural circles, the diplomatic corps, deputies of the parliament of the federal state of Hamburg, our compatriots, and also Tajik students.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Sohibnazar Gayratsho, providing those present with detailed information about the economic and investment potential of Tajikistan, highlighted the development of tourism as one of the most important sectors of the economy in the country. However, the guests were presented short films about modern Tajikistan.
