Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with the Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

On May 9, 2019, Ambassador of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin met with the Federal Minister of Food Security and Research of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Sahibzada Mohammad Mehboob Sultan.

During the meeting bilateral issues and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries were discussed, in particular cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan in the fields of agriculture, food security, as well as increasing the level of bilateral trade on agricultural products.

The issue of conducting the Joint Working Group and networking of contacts between experts of both countries were discussed. It was proposed in coordination with relevant authorities of both countries to organize above mentioned meeting in the framework of the upcoming Joint Intergovernmental Commission which planned this year.
