Meeting with the Speaker of the House of Lords of the British Parliament

On July 2, 2014 the Speaker of the House of Lords of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Baroness D’Souza received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov.

During the meeting the parties highly evaluated the development of inter-parliamentary relations between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom and exchanged views on regional issues as well as the situation in Afghanistan.

Taking the opportunity, Sirodjidin Aslov invited the Speaker of the House of Lords of the Parliament of Great Britain to conduct a visit to Tajikistan. Invitation was accepted with gratitude.

The meeting held in the atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
