Meeting in the Parliament of Great Britain

On July 2, 2014 in London in the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov made a statement before the members of the House of Lords (upper palate) of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, who are also the members of All-Parliamentary Group of Friends of Tajikistan and United Kingdom.

In his statement Sirodjidin Aslov informed the parliamentarians on main priorities of the development of Tajikistan and announced the position of our country on contemporary regional and world processes.  

In the meeting a thorough exchange of views took place where the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan answered to questions of the members of the House of Lords.

In conclusion Sirodjidin Aslov thanked the head of the All-Parliamentary Group of Friends of Tajikistan and United Kingdom Baroness Vivien Stern for her superb and active efforts and expressed hope for the further deepening of contacts between the parliamentarians of the two countries.
