Meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Turkey with the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of Tajikistan and Turkey

On January 17, 2019 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Turkey Mahmadali Rajabiyon held a meeting with the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of Tajikistan and Turkey Mr. Ahmed Uzer.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects of development of relations and comprehensive cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey, including Inter-Parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.  The parties supported  further development of Inter-Parliamentary cooperation in order to promote multi-faceted cooperation. In this process, the parties stressed the need to intensify bilateral contacts, visits of Inter-Parliamentary delegations and exchange of experience as important aspects in the development of bilateral cooperation.

The sides noted the important role of Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in the development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey.
