Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with Member of Diet of Japan

On September 15, 2017, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Dr. Hamrokhon ZARIFI held a meeting with the Member of House of Councillors of the National Diet of Japan and Member of Tajikistan - Japan Parliamentary Friendship League Mr. Keizo TAKEMI.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan expressed his gratitude to Mr. Keizo Takemi for his continued efforts in enhancing and expanding bilateral cooperation.

In the light of the outcomes of the meeting of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and Prime Minister of Japan H.E. Mr. Shinzo Abe, a constructive dialogue was held on cooperation in the trade and economic spheres and the finding the ways to strengthen it.

The issues of cooperation within the framework of the Inter-parliamentary League of Friendship were also discussed, and proposals were made to expand existing ties.

The interlocutors paid particular attention to the forthcoming working visit of Mr. Keizo Takemi to Tajikistan, which is scheduled for next week.
