Meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

On 16 June 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Hugh Philpott.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom.

The sides expressed their readiness in broadening further cooperation in such areas like economy, education, culture and security.

Constructive dialogue was also held on the issues of cooperation within the international organisations as well as other issues of mutual interest.
