Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs

On 11 March 2026 in the margins of the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW-70) there was held a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Tajikistan Mrs. Nigina Alizoda and the UN Under-Secretary-General for Legal Affairs Ms. Elinor Jane Britt Hammarskjöld.

At the meeting the parties discussed key cooperation issues between Tajikistan and the UN Office for Legal Affairs, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives within the international treaty frameworks.

The sides also shared views on the Office’s role in promoting the rule of international law and providing support to Member States in the implementation of their treaty obligations.
