Presentation of copies of credentials by Ambassador of Dominican Republic

On November 10, 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Republic of Tajikistan (with residence in Moscow) Mr. Alejandro Arias Zarzuela.

During the meeting, the parties stressed the need to establish bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Dominican Republic in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. The interlocutors particularly emphasized the potential for strengthening cooperation in the areas of tourism and “green energy”, establishing a political consultation mechanism, and expanding partnerships within international organizations.

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs wished Ambassador of the Dominican Republic success in his future diplomatic endeavors in Tajikistan.
