Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

On October 31, 2025, on the sidelines of the 43rd session of UNESCO in Samarkand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The heads of the foreign ministries exchanged views on important issues in bilateral relations between the countries, particularly in the political and economic spheres, as well as on expanding humanitarian ties.

The ministers, acknowledging the growing scope of comprehensive cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to further strengthening the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the two neighboring countries.
