Tajikistan and Malaysia Strengthen Political Cooperation

On September 4, 2025, the second round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Malaysia was held in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Farrukh Sharifzoda, while the Malaysian side was led by Deputy  Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Ahmad Rozian Abdul Ghani.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, investment, energy, cultural, and other areas of mutual interest, and exchanged views on key international and regional issues.

The consultations took place in a constructive atmosphere and will contribute to further strengthening friendly relations between Tajikistan and Malaysia.
