Meeting of the Minister with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia

On June 2, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Mr. Kaha Imnadze who is in Dushanbe to attend the International High-Level Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation.

At the meeting the parties expressed interest in strengthening and expanding the cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the UN in various fields, such as combating modern threats and security challenges, protecting the environment, ensuring sustainable development of society, protecting water resources and glaciers.
