Meeting of the Ambassador with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Japan in Tokyo

On September 9, 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Dr. Hamrokhon Zarifi held a meeting with the President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Japan-Tokyo  Toru Ishida.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the establishment of trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and Japan, and also discussed the possibility of establishing direct cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of two countries, sectoral agencies and entrepreneurs, taking into account the huge unused existing potential between the two countries.

Ambassador of Tajikistan shared about the trade-economic situation and investment climate of Tajikistan, the gradual development of these trends and development of entrepreneurial activities.

The parties agreed that the holding of meetings and events between representatives of small and medium enterprises of the two countries will serve as an effective measure for the development of this direction.

The Japan-Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry work in concert with 515 local Chambers of Commerce and Industry and brings together 1.250 million entrepreneurs and enterprises and cooperates with other countries in the areas of trade, agriculture, technology, tourism, investment, etc.
