Presentation of copies of letter of credence to the Tajik Foreign Minister by newly appointed Ambassador of Japan

On July 15, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojidin Aslov received a copy of credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan Hajime Kitaoka.

During the meeting after the ceremony of presentation of credentials the parties discussed the current status and prospects of development of friendship relations and cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan.

The Foreign Minister of Tajikistan noted that the appointment of Mr. Hajime Kitaoka as the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan with residence in Dushanbe is a historically important event in bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Japan.

The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan wished the new Ambassador of Japan success in his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.
