The Intergovernmental Commission between Tajikistan and Pakistan

15-16 June 2016 in Islamabad was held Fifth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Commission lead by Minister for Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmonzoda and Minister for Water and Power of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Khwaja Muhammad Asif.

The meeting was attended by representatives of ministries and departments of Tajikistan and Pakistan, who are responsible for the energy sector, economic development and trade, industry, transport and others.

The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the state and prospects of trade and economic relations, further expansion of the legal framework, the development of cooperation in energy, transport, industry and other sectors.
