Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development

On 20 September 2023, in the margins of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated and addressed the High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development.

In his statement, the Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke about Tajikistan’s initiatives in the implementation of Agenda 2030 and emphasized the importance of the revitalization of the UN activities in order to support member-states in their efforts to implement the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and financing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Minister Muhriddin also expressed support for restructuring international financial architecture to ensure the mobilization of stable and long-term financing scale for investments needed.
