Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the UN Deputy Secretary-General

On 26 February 2016 in New York the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov has met with the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Jan Eliasson.

During the meeting parties have exchanged views on the cooperation of Tajikistan with the UN institutions, political and security situation in the countries of the region and the assistance of the UN in this process, as well as implementation of new initiatives of Tajikistan on the water recourses management, in particular implementation of the International Decade “Water for Sustainable Development”.
