Participation of Deputy Foreign Minister at Meeting of Korean - Central Asia Cooperation Forum

On October 5, 2015 in Seoul was held the 9th Meeting of Korean - Central Asia Cooperation Forum. The delegations of the Republic of Tajikistan led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nizomiddin Zohidi took part in the work of the meeting.

Speaking at the opening ceremony the Head of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan noted interest in the development of multifaceted cooperation in the framework of the Forum, the disclosure of its potential, as well as the transformation of the region into a space of peace, friendship, mutual assistance and sustainable development.

The Forum held a special session to discuss the direction of institutionalizing cooperation between Central Asian countries and the Republic of Korea. During the four sessions of the Forum were discussed issues of cooperation in the field of territorial information and inventory of land, cultural resources, customs administration and health care.

The participations of the Forum noting the importance of the discussions, expressed their intention to make the character of practical cooperation and to implement specific projects affecting the common interests of all member countries of the Forum.

In the end of Forum was adopted “Seoul Declaration”.
 
In the framework of the Forum the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi met with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Cho Tae-Yong.

The sides discussed issues of bilateral relations and reiterated the mutual desire of the parties to use the existing great potential for cooperation in various fields. It was also considered expanding and strengthening of the legal base of bilateral relations.
