Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Sweden

On September 25, 2015 in the UN Headquarters Sirodjidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan met with Margot Wallström, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

During the meeting, the ministers exchanged views on issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially on implementation of the sustainable development goals (SDGs), in particular water-related SDGs.

In this regard, S. Aslov called upon the Swedish Government to support the initiative of Tajikistan on promotion of a new International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development”.
