The meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with Mr.Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries

On 6 June 2022 Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan met with Mr. Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, Ms.Terhi Hakala, EU Special Representative for Central Asia and Ms. Marjeta Jager, Deputy Director General for International Partnership of the European Commission who are participating in the 2nd International High-Level Conference on International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development", 2018-2028.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the global initiatives of Tajikistan, including world water agenda, as well as the current state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union, the situation in the region and other issues of mutual interest.
