Global Water Initiatives of the Leader of the Nation in Trends Magazine

The article entitled "The Republic of Tajikistan Leads Global Water Initiatives" was published in the fifth issue of the popular English magazine "Trends" (Islamic Republic of Iran), which is dedicated to the global initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon in the water sector.

This article describes four global initiatives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the water sector: the International Year of Fresh water, 2003, the International Decade for Action "Water for Life, 2005-2015", the International Year of Water Cooperation, 2013 and the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" and emphasizes their great importance in solving global water problems.

The conclusion of the article, published at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Tehran, states that the initiatives of the esteemed President of Tajikistan in the water sector are primarily aimed at strengthening cooperation and regulating relations in this vital area, and inspire new views on the use of water resources in the region and the world and pave the way for the achievement of the sustainable development goals.
