Photo exhibition "Tajikistan - country of mountain peaks and golden rivers"

On April 20, 2022, the opening of the exhibition "Tajikistan - the country of mountain peaks and golden rivers", organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan with the support of the Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher", was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Tajik-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Baku, representatives of Azerbaijani business and investment circles and local media.

The Director of the “Icherisheher” Museum Center Amina Melikova, the Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan Aydin Mirzazade and the world-famous photographer Reza Deghati delivered speeches as honorary guests.

During his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan Rustam Soli emphasized the importance of holding this exhibition in presenting the opportunities and beauties of Tajikistan and strengthening relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan and the peoples of the region, spoke about the rich culture, the art and crafts of the Tajik people, the development of the country's economy and the tourist potential of Tajikistan.

The exhibition will last until April 25, 2022.
