Meeting of the Ambassador with the President of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey

On April 8, 2022, in Istanbul, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov met with the President of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEIK) Nail Olpak.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of economic cooperation between the two countries, primarily trade and the process of attracting direct Turkish investments to Tajikistan, the initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the announcement of 2022-2026 "Years of Industrial Development".

An agreement was reached that investment and trade forums will be organized this year to develop cooperation between the private sector of the two countries, including in the banking and energy sectors.
