Meeting at the Ministry of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman

In the framework of the official visit to the Sultanate of Oman in December 19, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojidin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman, Ahmad bin Nasir al-Makhrasi.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism, taking into account the tourism potential of the two countries, and stressed the importance of establishing direct contacts between travel agencies of the two countries in order to involve tourists.

The sides expressed their interest in the further development  of tourism sphere and promote tourism opportunities, to facilitate the holding of joint tourism events, to accelerate the process of coordination on draft agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism and signing it as soon as possible.
