Reception of the cultural delegation at the Embassy

On February 1, 2026, the cultural delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by Ms. Parvina Naqibi, Deputy Chairperson of the city of Panjakent, was received at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Kuwait. 
It is noteworthy that the country’s artisans are participating in the 2nd World Crafts Forum entitled “Crafts in the Creative Economy”, which is being held from 1 to 3 February this year in the Kuwait City, State of Kuwait. 
During the reception, Mr. Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait welcomed the active participation of Tajik artisans in this international event and emphasized the important role of folk arts in showcasing the rich culture, history, and national identity of Tajikistan on the global stage. He also noted that such events contribute to strengthening cultural cooperation, facilitating knowledge exchange among artisans, and promoting the potential of the creative economy. 
During the meeting, issues related to supporting artisans, expanding international cultural relations, and preserving and developing the country’s intangible cultural heritage, particularly the art of Suzani embroidery were discussed.
