Opening ceremony of the first flight between Tajikistan and Kuwait

On December 20, 2022, the opening ceremony of the first flight between Kuwait and Dushanbe took place at the Embassy.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps of the country of residence, representatives of various public and private institutions of Kuwait, travel companies, media representatives as well as officials from Jazeera Airways.

In his opening remarks, the Ambassador noted that thanks to the effective measures and efforts of the Embassy, based on the instructions of the country's leadership, a direct flights will connect the capitals of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait from the end of December of this year.

It was noted that the launch of a direct flight plays an effective role in strengthening trade, economic, investment, and tourism cooperation. It is hoped that after the launch of the flights, the trade and tourist flow will increase from both sides.

 Additionally, at the event, photographs of tourist sites, places of interest, and tourism materials of Tajikistan were exhibited.
