First Central Asia-Republic of Korea Local Governments Cooperation Forum held in Seoul

On November 26, 2024, Seoul hosted the inaugural Central Asia-Republic of Korea Local Governments Cooperation Forum.

A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Chairman Sijouddin Salomzoda of the Dangara District, participated in the event. Chairman Salomzoda delivered a speech highlighting the potential for enhanced interregional cooperation between Tajikistan and various regions of Korea.

The Forum provided a platform to discuss strategies for expanding cooperation, with a particular focus on leveraging the opportunities presented by the Dangara Free Economic Zone. Participants were introduced to the district's potential through a detailed presentation.
