Inclusion of the 1050th Anniversary of Rabia Balkhi in UNESCO’s List of Anniversaries

In November 2025, during the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, the 1050th anniversary of Rabia Balkhi was included in UNESCO’s List of Anniversaries for 2026–2027.

The commemoration of the anniversary of the distinguished Tajik-Persian poet Rabia Balkhi, who lived during the Samanid period alongside Rudaki, serves as an international acknowledgment of the profound history and cultural heritage of the Tajik nation.
