Participation in the 47th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee

On July 7, 2025, the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee officially opened at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The session brought together 21 Committee Member, UNESCO Member States, and UNESCO Director‑General Audrey Azoulay delivered a welcoming speech to the participants.

The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan participating in this engaging in discussions on the protection and strengthening of the world’s cultural and natural heritages.

This session serves as a key platform for sharing experiences, enhancing international cooperation and building national capacity in the field of heritage preservation.
