Participation of the Tajik Delegation in the Global Gateway Forum 2025

On 9-10 October 2025, the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Manuchehr Safarzoda participated in the 2nd Global Gateway Forum 2025.

The representative of Tajikistan addressed the Scale-up Session of the Global Gateway Flagship Projects, entitled “Scaling Up the Hydropower Potential in Central Asia” and presented the country’s hydropower projects.

On the sidelines of the forum, Deputy Minister Manuchehr Safarzoda held meetings with Peteris Ustubs, Head of the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Department of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA), and Edvardas Bumsteinas, Head of the Asia and the Pacific Department of the European Investment Bank (EIB).
