Talks with parlamentrarians of Bundestag

On 29 November 2018 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Gayratsho Sohibnazar met with the Chairman of the Interparlamentary Friendship Group “Germany – Central Asia” of the German Bundestag Mr. Manfred Grund and members of the beforementioned Group.

During the meeting among the issues related to the current state of the Tajik and German relations the ways of enhancing political and economic cooperation, cooperation in the field of security, tourism, environment protection and holding joint events of the parlamentaries of the two states have been discussed.

The parties agreed that the close cooperation will be continued in order to represent economic and tourism opportunities of Tajikistan, to attract the attention of international organizations to the impacts of climate change and on this basis to hold economic forums. It was also agreed that the possibility of inscribing Tajikistan on the special programs on environment protection as well as exchange of experience between the parliamentarians of the two countries will be considered.
