Visit of Ambassadors to the Federal State of Saarland Together with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany

On 3 June 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, took part in a familiarization visit to the Federal State of Saarland at the invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, together with heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Germany.

During the visit, the participants were introduced to the economic, industrial and scientific potential of Saarland, including the activities of leading industrial enterprises, the electrical engineering sector, the ceramics industry, and the region’s research institutions.

On the margins of the visit, Ambassador Sattorov exchanged views with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the Minister-President of Saarland, Anke Rehlinger, on the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic and industrial sectors.

At the conclusion of the event, the importance of further strengthening cooperation and maintaining a constructive dialogue was emphasized.
