Meeting of the Ambassador with the President of the Saxony-Anhalt Landtag and visit to AECI Mining Chemicals

On 21 April 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, met with the President of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt, Gunnar Schellenberger. The meeting focused on issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.

During the meeting, both sides paid particular attention to the development of economic cooperation, especially in the mining industry, and discussed opportunities to further expand collaboration in this sector.

Following the discussion, the Ambassador, together with the President of the Landtag, paid a familiarization visit to AECI Mining Chemicals (Schirm GmbH) in Schönebeck. During the visit, they were introduced to the company’s production activities, technical capacities, and main areas of operation.

AECI Mining Chemicals is an international company in the field of specialty chemicals, primarily focused on supplying the mining sector with relevant products and technologies. The company produces metallurgical reagents, emulsifiers, and other chemical products used in ore processing. It is part of the AECI Group, founded in 1894, which today employs approximately 8,000 people and operates in more than 20 countries.
