Working Visit of the Ambassador to the Czech Republic

On March 25, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Czech Republic, with residence in the Federal Republic of Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, paid a working visit to Prague, during which a number of working meetings were held.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with Ladislav Banovec, Director of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. The parties discussed issues related to the development of cooperation in the fields of education and science. Particular attention was paid to strengthening academic exchanges, expanding inter-university cooperation, as well as enhancing cooperation in the areas of sports and youth policy.

The Ambassador also met with Jan Bartošek, Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening interparliamentary cooperation and developing dialogue in areas of mutual interest, noting the important role of interparliamentary friendship groups in advancing this process.

As part of the visit, Imomudin Sattorov also met with Radek Jakubský, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic. The parties identified trade, economic and investment cooperation as priority areas. The need to expand direct contacts between companies was stressed, and the broad potential for economic cooperation was discussed. Both sides also expressed their readiness to further strengthen ties and organize mutual visits of economic delegations.
