Tajikistan Participates in the International Tourism Fair “ITB Berlin 2026”

From 3 to 5 March 2026, the International Tourism Fair “ITB Berlin” was held in Berlin, where the tourism potential of the Republic of Tajikistan was presented.

At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Federal Republic of Germany, and in cooperation with the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a national stand presenting the country’s tourism opportunities was organized. Promotional materials and other information about Tajikistan’s tourism potential were presented to visitors, representatives of tourism companies, and potential partners.

On 5 March 2026, the Berlin Economic Forum 2026 took place in Potsdam during the exhibition, organised by the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy and held under the title 'International Business, Sustainable Investments and Tourism Development in Modern Economies'.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from Mark C. Donfried, the Executive Director and Founder of the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy. Imomudin Sattorov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, also delivered a speech in which he emphasised the importance of developing the tourism sector and making effective use of Tajikistan’s natural and cultural resources to attract international visitors.

During the forum, the country’s tourism potential and opportunities in the tourism sector as an important driver of economic development were presented to participants.
