On July 11, 2025, the Magdeburg Economic Forum took place in Magdeburg, Germany, followed by the third horse race day of the season on July 12. The events were organized by the German Global Trade Forum Berlin and the H4 Racing Club business network, with the involvement of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany and offered a platform to present Tajikistan within the program.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, emphasized in his speech at the Economic Forum that Tajikistan offers a favorable legal environment and attractive incentives for foreign investors and is interested in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Germany and other countries. He highlighted that the fields of energy, light industry, agricultural processing, tourism, logistics, and transit are among the priority areas for the development of Tajikistan's economy.
Ambassadors and official representatives from several countries took part in the event, including China, Kyrgyzstan, the Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, the United States, and Uruguay, as well as representatives from German politics, business, culture, and the media.
As part of the event, a horse race for the Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan was held on July 12, conducted in a spirit of friendship and cooperation. The race covered a distance of 1,800 meters, and the winners were awarded cash prizes and commemorative gifts.
The race attracted more than 3,000 spectators, including numerous guests from the business, industrial, political, and cultural sectors of Saxony-Anhalt, who also expressed interest in developing new trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and Germany.
At the conclusion of the event, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany, emphasized that such economic, cultural, and sporting events contribute to showcasing Tajikistan’s potential and play an important role in strengthening friendship, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and developing the tourism sector between Tajikistan, Germany, and other countries.
