Continuation of the Official Visit to Poland

On 3 July 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Poland, with residence in Berlin, Mr. Imomudin Sattorov, held a series of meetings with senior representatives of key Polish state institutions in Warsaw as part of his visit to Poland.

During the meeting with the Deputy Commander of the Polish Border Guard, Major General Grzegorz Niemiec, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of border security.

In the meeting with Tomasz Kostuś, Chair of the Polish-Tajik Parliamentary Friendship Group, and his deputy Zbigniew Chmielowiec, the importance of inter-parliamentary dialogue in fostering friendly relations was highlighted. Both sides expressed their readiness to continue direct engagement and expand cooperation.

The Ambassador also met with Michal Baranowski, Undersecretary of State (Podsekretarz stanu) at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, who also serves as Head of the Polish side of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Poland and Tajikistan. The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of economic and investment cooperation, as well as preparations for the next session of the Commission, taking into account priority areas of mutual interest.
