The Day of National Unity was celebrated in Germany

At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Federal Republic of Germany and in cooperation with active members of the Tajik diaspora in North Rhine-Westphalia, where many Tajik compatriots live, a festive event dedicated to National Unity Day took place on June 28, 2025. More than 400 Tajik citizens from various parts of Germany participated in this gathering.

The event began with an opening speech by Imomuddin Sattorov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Germany. The Ambassador congratulated those present on National Unity Day, emphasising that it commemorates a historic event achieved through the efforts of the Tajik people under the leadership of President Emomali Rahmon. This marked the beginning of a new era of peace and sustainable development for the country. He also emphasised the importance of preserving unity and the role of young people in strengthening it.

Throughout the event, guests experienced a vibrant cultural programme featuring traditional songs and national dances. Performances were given by Umedjon Burhon, Farhod Shams, Anushervon Lolazorbekov and the national music ensemble “Ritm-X” from Hamburg. Their performances were warmly received by the audience.

At the end of the event, a traditional national feast was prepared for the guests. The celebration concluded in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
